HOUSTON – U.S. Zinc officials announced today that the company has formalized its long standing alliance with HB Chemical as its preferred rubber distributor in North America. HB Chemical recently opened a distribution warehouse between Cleveland and Akron, Ohio, tripling their warehouse space and expanding distribution capabilities in the region.
“We have had a successful 25-year relationship with HB Chemical and are proud to continue to have them on board as one of our top distributors,” said U.S. Zinc Vice President of Commercial Tracy Baugh. “Our main priority is providing our customers with the highest-quality products and services, and alliances with companies like HB Chemical deliver on that commitment.”
With 10 warehouses throughout the U.S., HB Chemical has distributed rubber accelerators, activators, plasticizers, tackifiers, antioxidants, polymers, phenolics, rubber to metal bonding agents, additives, chemicals and process aids for the rubber, plastics and coatings industries for nearly three decades. Its product mix covers everything a rubber mixer would need.
“I am thrilled to put an exclamation point on our partnership with U.S. Zinc,” Jeff Rand, owner, HB Chemical said. “They have long been a valued supplier and we look forward to continued growth with them.”
